Mission:

To encourage the people of Arizona with the good news of Jesus in the lead up to the 2000th anniversary of his public ministry, death, and resurrection in 2033.  The resurrection is the highest common denominator for followers of Jesus.  These few years leading up to 2033 afford a unique opportunity for his followers to present the transforming power of his message and to lock arms in obedience to the great commission.

2033 Arizona - BlessAZ is an umbrella banner for an interdenominational collaboration of Arizona Christian ministries.   We are linked to global efforts to commemorate the bimillennial and to promote collective impact through the 2033 Project. This website, 2033AZ.org, is a communications hub for those efforts.  Our goal is to connect, encourage and enable local ministries in their outreach to our communities, sharing the love of Christ with our neighbors and providing witness to the hope we have in the resurrection.  Our initial focus is foster care - learn about what we are doing and how you can support these efforts at BlessAZ/Uncommon Giving.

In the spirit of the first century church community, these initiatives encourage participation and support from all those who call themselves followers of Jesus who can align with the doctrines of the earliest creeds and church councils. We seek to collaborate with all like-minded believers.  
Significant doctrinal differences are recognized between denominations, but this will not become a barrier to the celebration of a common heritage tracing to the life and ministry of Jesus.  Though we may be different, we are not divided in Christ.

Linked Global Efforts:
2023-2033 will be proclaimed the "Decade of the Resurrection" through the World Council of Churches.

​Jesus Christ 2033.  This partnering organization in Geneva, Switzerland was established to call Christians all over the world to a special celebration of the resurrection of Jesus on Easter of  2033 AD.
Decade of Remembrance: 2028-2038 AD.  Jesus of Nazareth has impacted human history more than any individual.  As we approach the 2000th anniversary of the many significant events in his life and public ministry,  this is a call to remem-brance of those historical events that changed the world forever.

The Galilean Institute is being formed to commemorate the life and legacy of Jesus Christ.   The Institute will be an inter-denominational, educational organization with an international hub centered in Galilee, Israel.  "The Galilean" will be operational in 2028 for celebration of the 2000th anniversary of the public ministry of Jesus. 
Evangelization 2033.  This Roman Catholic initiative is to serve for proclamation, formation, mission and prayer leading up to the Greatest of All Jubilees in 2033 to make Christ known to the very ends of the earth.  A leaders conference was recently held in January 2020 in Israel.
