The bimillennial year 2033 will be upon us faster than we think. Are we preparing for this most significant commemoration in the last 1000 years? Countdown to 2033 are meetings to lay a foundation for collaborations leading up to the 2000th anniversary of the resurrection. The initial focus will be to develop a vision and communications network among Christian leaders. This effort was formalized in August 2019 when several local and national leaders met at Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, Arizona. |

Purpose: As we approach the 2000th anniversary of the ministry, crucifixion, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we encourage a renewal of unity among believers that draws millions of new believers into a life of discipleship.
This meeting will bring together Christian leaders from multiple traditions to examine our opportunities for commemoration of the bimillennial and, more specifically, how we can improve communications and media engagement. Several ministries will share what they are doing for preparation.
2023 starts a countdown for the “Decade of the Resurrection” and we seek the wisdom of many counselors for the implementation of a communications strategy.
